So Long Harriet!
It appears that Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers has fallen upon her sword and withdrawn her nomination to the highest court in the land. Obviously, the Administration is already spinning that the nomination was withdrawn because the Senate demanded to see internal White House documents as part of the advise and consent process. However, I think the real reason is more that George Bush knew this nominee would never survive the confirmation process, causing a huge embarrassment for the Administration. And Harriet, being the loyal Bush-ite that she is, was more than happy to sacrifice herself for her beloved President.
Okay George, how about nominating someone qualified for a change?
